You’ve been trying to create a life that feels safe, but you continue to feel on edge, hypervigilant. Often, this keeps you up at night further contributing to the exhaustion you already feel from the incessant buzz in your body. The fear makes you want to isolate and so often you feel alone even when you are with friends and family because your experience of life seems so different from theirs.

Anxiety is the physiological response to an emotion that doesn’t feel safe. We dig down in to identify what doesn’t feel safe within you or in your life so we can develop a sense of calm and peace. This physical hypervigilance can be nutritionally depleting so we ensure your body is getting what you need. We also use yogic breath and movement to regulate the nervous system for a wholistic healing experience.

MY APPROACH

Hello, I’m Kira.

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist, registered dietitian nutritionist, certified yoga therapist and ayurvedic health counselor and I specialize in working with anxiety through integrative therapy. I’ll help you feel safe, calm, and confident.

I integrate psychotherapy to better understand what doesn’t feel safe with nutrition therapy to ensure nutrient deficiencies aren’t contributing to the symptoms and yoga therapy to regulate the nervous system. Together these approaches care for and address your entire system and offer wholistic healing.
